Kennesaw State University - Assistant Professor of History

The History and Philosophy Department prepares students for adaptable, fulfilling careers by teaching a core set of transferable knowledge and skills through research, analyzing and assessing evidence, and articulating sound conclusions both orally and in writing. Students learn about the larger world by studying societies, cultures, and economies across a broad chronological and geographical spectrum, which makes them better global citizens, problem solvers, and communicators.

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of History in the Department of History and Philosophy with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Chair in Southern Literature, Associate or Full Professor

The Department of English at the University of Georgia invites applications from candidates specializing in Southern Literature, with a preferred focus on African American Culture and Literature, for the Barbara Methvin Chair, to begin on August 1, 2026. Assistant Professor - Digital and/or Emerging Technologies and Africa

 

The Department of African and African Diaspora Studies at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in the Fall of the academic year 2026-27. We seek an exceptional scholar whose work centers on digital and/or emerging technologies and Africa, with a preference for West or Southern Africa.
