Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of History in the Department of History and Philosophy with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Chair in Southern Literature, Associate or Full Professor
The Department of English at the University of Georgia invites applications from candidates specializing in Southern Literature, with a preferred focus on African American Culture and Literature, for the Barbara Methvin Chair, to begin on August 1, 2026. We are interested in candidates at the level of Full or Advanced Associate Professor. Candidates may be considered for an appointment in the Institute for African American Studies. Assistant Professor - Digital and/or Emerging Technologies and Africa
The Department of African and African Diaspora Studies at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in the Fall of the academic year 2026-27. We seek an exceptional scholar whose work centers on digital and/or emerging technologies and Africa, with a preference for West or Southern Africa. We welcome candidates who integrate applied or experimental digital technologies into their research and teaching, as well as those who critically investigate the social, cultural, and ethical dimensions of those technologies.
