Call for papers for a symposium on the work of the award-winning poet, anthologist and editor and long-time activist, Makhosazana Xaba, to be held at the University of Cape Town on April 1, 2026. The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2025. Full details are below and in the attached call. Please send abstracts for presentation of no longer than 500 words to barbara.boswell@uct.ac.za and athambile.masola@uct.ac.za, with the subject line “Xaba symposium abstract” by **30 November 2025**.
