IPA Initiative de recherche sur la traite des personnes (HTRI), financé par le Programme pour mettre fin à l'esclavage moderne (PEMS) du Département d'État américain, a lancé sa quatrième série de subventions d'amorçage. Ces subventions de démarrage visent à élargir le champ de la recherche de haute qualité sur la traite des êtres humains en soutenant des partenariats, des recherches exploratoires et des études de faisabilité pour de futures évaluations à grande échelle des interventions actuelles ou prévues en matière de lutte contre la traite. L'objectif de ces subventions de démarrage est de générer des données probantes et des collaborations significatives qui permettront aux équipes de se préparer à des études à grande échelle à un stade ultérieur. La reconnaissance des liens profonds entre la violence contre des enfants (VCE) et la violence contre des femmes (VCF) ne cesse de s'accroître, mais les bases de données probantes restent limitées, fragmentées et peu développées. La plupart des recherches se concentrent sur les intersections entre la violence entre partenaires intimes (VPI) contre des femmes et la maltraitance des enfants à la maison, avec des données probantes limitées sur les autres formes de VCE et de VCF.
