To strengthen transatlantic exchanges and collaboration, the West African Research Association (WARA), funded by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, offers residencies to WARA member institutions to host a West African researcher on their campus. Each residency will last between 4 and 8 weeks and will offer the visiting researcher the opportunity to conduct library research, give lectures, and/or collaborate with American colleagues. Please note that these residencies are short-term exchanges and are not intended to fill faculty positions.

The application deadline is March 3, 2024.
